My Memorable Hotel Stay Experiences, year 2017, 2018 and 2019!

Every now and then I used to travel (in Pre-covid times)! I was just thinking about most recent travel stays(in last couple of years) - My Memorable Hotel Experiences.  I realized; It is pretty interesting that all 3 are in 3 different continents.   The Leela Kovalam, Trivandrum, India (Asia) It was indeed our annual trip and the occasion was - My son's 2nd Birthday.  When I think about the stay what was great - very warm welcome with tilak and a sea shells necklace for all of us, Coconut water - a healthy welcome drink.  Grand beautiful and well designed lobby was a great place for the kid to run around, while we were being checked in, after a long flight and car ride. Great sea view form the hotel and fantastic room with a beach view was part of the grandeur that comes with a Lila Property usually on coast. Huge property, Sprawling Lawns, amazing private beach section. Very Indian, really great food spread, there was a Kathakali performance by famous performer...

Travel before the Pandemic and Now!

I have been traveling for 15 years for work and extensively like every months in last 2017 through Jan 2020 years.   Travel before March 2020 - Book a hotel with all facilities and great quality, however all the time busy with Work, meetings, work related business and trying to catch up that sleep. Sneak out for a walk in the park, mall or to a beach to refresh. Catch a meal late night after meetings.   Travel after March 2020 - Can't Travel!! or Travel with restrictions!! or Travel with so so so many precautions!! Eventually the feeling is oh god, did i really get the break that I needed ??   Lessons learnt - Value the travel (things) when you were traveling, Work is a part of life not life. Travel gives youe experiences and a soul rejuvenation in many ways. value that meal, value that place, take walks , spend tiem exploring the place, let the neurons in the brain, learn more than you already know.  Travel certainly has its own beauty!

Change or no ?

Some readers might be wondering what's in this blog about change - Just the name :) Not really, Actually its just about the change that we are bringing in ourselves - it could be giving up coffee...  wait did i say giving up.... naah,  i meant reducing :) ;), for college girls, it could be giving up on those silly guys who are just there for fun, not the life that we have been dreaming about...   it could be about why would you still continue the job that you probably don't love (let me be straight , it sucks).....  is the appraisal still governing your choices... it could be about now you are backpacking and going on that long awaited spain trip.   it could be about anything and everything that you may wanna change.. interestingly enough, there is no governing body here so it can be about something that you don't wanna change, you are caught up with...  you wanna vent out .. Actually you know what -  Give yourself the long time fancie...

i don't know

There's this feeling sometimes, when we say , we feel - I don't know. Does that mean, we feel lonely , we are bored, we don't like xyz or in few cases where we can't share our actual feeling openly. I don't know, very few times come out of happiness. Unless we are high on happiness or choices which we love and are blushing with the fact that its too much and yaay... :) One Classic case of I don't know is Charlotte York from the Sex and the city 2 - Being High and just Saying - I don't know, I don't know and I Don't know.  When i spoke to couple of girls about this, Priya said that there are times when there is an empty feeling and she doesn't wanna talk much, that's when she chooses - I don't know. On the other hand, Suhani said, "She chooses to say I don't know when she wants to stay away from further interaction" Interestingly enough, when i spoke to some guys about the I don't know factor. a check and a recheck

we check and recheck the things that are important to us... and the importance or priorities keep changing... we still review and see the what, whys hows and whoms of the stuff... every step and every move...   even while starting this blog, read and re read, write and delete, while sending an email, while writing an address on a mail courier... and then checking the balance from the supermarket, whatelse, the movie show timing :) and the list goes on and on................. so yes its just a check post :)
